As I was hoping. Easy to assemble, easy to hold, easy to focus. I wanted them to be able to see across the street and they fit the bill. Let's say the standard lot here is 50 feet by 100 feet, with a regular two-lane road and a 20-foot exit. maybe a viewing distance of 200 +/- feet? Haven't tried it in the park or on the beach for extra long distances yet. (Luckily I read the manufacturer/seller description which describes and defines what the numbers mean. If the numbers are too large they can be difficult to hold and steady when looking into the lens. I'm used to using a handheld assumed, not from a tripod.) One reviewer said he was unhappy that both lens caps were not attached. well, if you pay attention to how the strap is plugged in, then both plugs stay with the device. Feel durable. Comfortable to hold. Very happy with my purchase.
