This flashlight was a lightning deal purchase. I needed a better light for work and this fit my budget and size. The light is small enough to fit in your pant pocket, it has two buttons, one for immediate high output (on the back) and a dimmer light for quick visual tasks on the side.I love the brightness of this light and I use it daily in dark spaces. The battery life is acceptable for me and my use. What I don't like is the auto adjustment feature it has for the output, I'll be working on something needing all the light I can get and it will auto dim itself to the point where I have to stop what I'm doing, and turn it off and back on again. I also feel the need to address that when the light is being used on its maximum setting, it heats up very quickly, so bear that in mind when in use because it will burn you if you leave it on for too long. Also, it's not a huge deal, but the button on the rear is also the charging connection, which is magnetized. This normally isn't an issue, however, if I have small metal objects in the same pocket it will stick to the light. The same thing will happen if I get it too close to metal shavings, which happens often. The light came with a rubberized lanyard (which I don't use) and a snap-on retaining clip. The clip has the annoying tendency to pop off for no particular reason. I use the clip to secure the light in my pocket and to my hat, which it works fine for. Lastly, I said the battery life is acceptable, I definitely know when it needs to be charged because the light output cuts down drastically, which sucks if you really need it in the moment, so to avoid this I charge it up more frequently than needed. I don't have butterfingers so I can't speak to the durability, however it is built very well, and seems like it would be fine in a drop test.Overall I'm happy with it, it's portable size and capability is on par with streamlight products at a lower cost. The most annoying thing about it is the auto adjustment feature. I would recommend this light to anyone looking for a new light.

Pros
  • It comes with a magnetic tail cap that you can use to attach the flashlight to any metal surface, providing a hands-free operation
Cons
  • The flashlight may not be bright enough for outdoor photography
