The first thing I like: Very solid set. Insanely sharp and terrifying to use for the first few times. The cuts are incredibly clean and perfect. Cuts better than my router. Upon research, all reviews say that DADO kits may not cut as cleanly as a router. I found the other side. I even used a brand new bit in my router. The set arrived undamaged and within the specified time frame. I am very very happy with this purchase and now I understand why it costs so much. While it costs a little, I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Yes, the price stung a little, but I feel like I'm getting my value from this set. Now for the less fallen: Every review says the case sucks, and they're on top. Are you planning to make your own case or purchase a quality case to house this set. I was lucky that I didn't have any broken teeth when I received the set. The seals had a little surface rust on the die cut labels. But there was nothing that Scotch-Brite and WD-40 didn't take care of right away. I also wasn't thrilled with the fact that none of the helicopters were lettered. Once I figured out what was what, I just wrote on the chippers with a pencil. When I assemble my case, I make sure the boxes that each chopper goes in are labeled. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. My expectations were lower than the performance of this set. That would be five stars, but Freud definitely needs to do something about their horrible shipping packaging for a product this good. You also need to figure out how to label or identify chopper knives. It probably won't matter much to pros, but I'm not a pro and don't do it all the time. I look forward to many years of woodworking projects with this product.
