January 2020, just ordered/received my Freud SD508 Dado kit. I saw reviews from 2015 complaining about this case. Am I wrong in assuming that Freud has already solved this problem? Surely you understand that first impressions matter, not to mention that I clean the TV every time? I have an older set from 10 years ago with a fantastic body/design and I see it still being used in cheaper TVs? Aside from the terrible packaging that others have repeatedly mentioned, I was expecting a decent 5-star option at a premium price. I use a 6" Oshlun Dado blade set and they work pretty well. This is the best blade set I've ever used and the micro adjustment is way better than any shims between blades for precision work.
