This is the best blade set I've ever used and the micro adjustment is way better than any shims between blades for precision work. I use my dado almost every day so I bought a second one to take turns sharpening while the other sharpens. Unfortunately the storage box is junk. They stuffed the thinnest cheap plastic they could find into the case to protect a $200+ set of blades. I paid $280 for my original many years ago and got a cheaper backup now. However, if the sheathing designed to protect these blades fails, the hard metals will be damaged and will need to be repaired. I contacted Freud about a case replacement. After several weeks of no response, I sent another email. I also returned my first set to the Revain seller for an exchange and the second case turned out to be even worse. Looks like I'll try to contact the company again. Photo 1 is the first set, Photo 2 is a replacement.
