This breakaway halter has a nicely lined nose bridge and headband. The ad was a bit misleading, it says leather but look closely those lace halters. The only leather detail is the detachable strap. I ordered purple and it was true to color when I received it. The only thing I don't like is the durability. The throat lash clip had already broken and my filly has only worn the halter during the day for the past month. I hope this is not a harbinger of the future, just an accident. All in all I can't complain. You get what you pay for. Update: I am pleased to report that the company is replacing the faulty halter. Shalana from Weaver Customer Service asked me for information and photos. She was very pleasant and helpful.
