It's definitely not a military device or whatever the advertising says, but it's stronger than other flexible rubber cases. The case is thick, not thin, but I wouldn't trust it to protect if my little ones were tossing it around the room like a soccer ball. However, I didn't choose this case for its protective ability - I chose it because it's transparent so there's no need to cover my sexy phone, because it's not bulky and it's tight around the edges. Also, don't try to glue the pop socket on the back. It's impossible to stay. Recommended for all the reasons above and the price couldn't be better!
