I've been a supporter and member of the PC development community from the start and have seen quite a few CPU coolers over the years. Anything with enough thermal mass distribution in front of a big enough fan will cool your processor down to reasonable temperatures, that's not an issue here. The problem isn't the ability to perform its function, but the complete lack of engineering that went into this design, especially the design of the installation, which can leave you in a worse position than you were before. First, the radiator fins are very thin, sharp, and malleable. It arrived with its fins bent at all angles, somewhat detracting from its purpose. Second, the mounting hardware is absolutely ridiculous. I won't describe the flaws in its design as I'll do your work for you, but there are a thousand ways to make it better using simpler methods. Third, due to the lack of structural integrity, it flexes and deforms under pressure during installation. Fourth, the most ridiculous part is that the only thing that keeps the block "safe" to the CPU is the thermal paste suction. Keep trying. Tighten everything, then move the radiator. It literally slides over the top of the processor due to play in its mounting mechanism. Do not buy this product.
