Not recommended. My intention was to replace the cover which was closed but had to be removed for use with the TV. The transparent window allows you to lift the valve and stay covered. However, since the underside is open, it serves no purpose other than the rain cover at the top. There are a few quality and design flaws. - the clear plastic is painted black from the lid (not visible until the lid is on and the TV is on) - the clear plastic is VERY crumpled, looks awful - the bottom of the lid doesn't close or close fully - it has two straps that go through the hole. - The back does not fully cover the TV mount. The last issue required me to trim the cover as there is a slot in the center for attaching. Incidentally, the cover stays rolled up and water collects and runs into the TV AND it leaves an area of about 12 x 12 of the TV open at the back. I can't send it back with the mod.
