As you can see in the pictures attached to the review, this can hold quite a few bottles of spice. This rack can hold about 15 standard-sized spice bottles per tier or 30 altogether. Of course, some bottles may vary and I also use this to hold some soup base jars which are much larger, but it's a very convenient way to save some space and bring order to your shelves as well as your spices.I attached this just a bit close to the right side of the closet and I will move it about another 1/4" so that it slides easier. The unit slides very well, it was my mistake trying to save as much space as I could and placing it so that it made contact with the wall on the right.Building it is simple and took about 10 minutes; all parts and tools are included. It might help to have someone else there to hold a rack in place until you get a screw or two into it, but I had no problem doing it myself.It attaches to the pantry shelf with 4 screws, easily drilled into place.The only thing you lose is some space in the front (or back) of the racks. Since it slides out, L eft the space in the front and I can always put a can or jar there if I want; I'll just have to remove them when I need to slide the rack out. You can also mount it so that it is flush with the shelf and you will have room behind it for storage but if you do that, make sure you don't need to use whatever is behind the rack very often as it will be difficult to get to.The quality of the manufacture is good. Unlike another rack I bought, this has sliders just like you would see on a desk drawer or on your kitchen drawers assuming you have metal ball bearing sliders and not plastic or wood.I recommend this product for anyone who, like me, has a lot of spices in the house (I will be getting another of these, I typically have at least 60 spices in my pantry) and who might want to organize the spices by alphabet/type/function, etc.Recommended.Review of: Pull Out Spice Rack Organizer for Cabinet
