Review on ๐Ÿถ DIY Dog Containment: Educator E-Fence Underground Fence System for Self-Installation by Pamela Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Includes a collar; additional collars can be purchased - each collar can have its own setting

We just put up a cheap fence and were afraid that one of the dogs might try to climb over it or dig into it underneath so we use E-Fence as an extra precaution and it works great. We braided the boundary wire through the bottom of the fence. Incidentally, the boundary wire must be purchased separately. It also comes with a collar. So if you have more than one dog, you will need to purchase additional collars. Collars have 30 settings. One of our dogs is very smart and stubborn, we had to use higher settings for her. The other two learned very well at the lowest settings. I like that each collar can be adjusted independently; what works for one dog may not work for another. I really don't like shocking my dog and I'm glad this system gives a warning beep or vibration at first. It took our three dogs about a week and a half to get used to their limits. Feel free to call customer service with any questions, they are very knowledgeable and ready to help. In fact, the woman I spoke to uses this system. If you want to learn more about the E-Fence before you buy, I found that you can download the user manual and installation guide. You can find the link under the Product Details heading on the Revain product page. You can also watch the manufacturer's video. You can also find it on the product page under the "Related Featurettes" heading.
