🐶 DIY Dog Containment: Educator E-Fence Underground Fence System for Self-Installation Review

Overall I liked the product and the batteries haven't had to be recharged since installing it about two months ago. The device is slightly larger than some others.

Description says real collar is included but not. Before purchasing an additional receiver, make sure you have an additional collar. I don't like paying over $100 just for a receiver and not getting a collar to put on.

After struggling with the Pet Safe Yard Max for a few weeks I returned it and purchased the Educator. It works as advertised/designed. Installation was a lot easier than Pet Safe and the whole system works great. My dog has been training for the second week now and is showing great results. I am absolutely sure that I have chosen the right system. Sometimes simpler is better!

My dog is so happy that he knows his limits and can roam freely within them. This is the best system I have found! Simply switch off at the control box to take it on a leash. The rechargeable collar charges quickly and lasts over 4 weeks. Lots of settings to increase correction when learning limits. Very durable, well made and easy to assemble. I highly recommend it. It's worth the $.

I purchased this system and collars in 2019 when my Invi$ible Fence died of old age. The cost is VERY good compared to Invi$ible Fence $$$$$. We just put up a cheap fence and were afraid that one of the dogs might try to climb over it or dig into it underneath so we use E-Fence as an extra precaution and it works great. quick update, customer service was good and quick to respond to emails. After trying 3 or 4 more times to program the collars, they suddenly worked properly. Just a note, other reviewers have noted that you don't hear a beep. Now they work properly < I can actually hear the sound when I hold them in my hand and approach the fence. It's a chirping sound. It's not very loud, but if they're working properly you should be able to hear a chirp. I'm upgrading to 3 stars due to a programming issue.
