Edit: I downgraded my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. You destroyed my transmission. This resulted in the loss of 3rd gear and my torque converter overheating. Although the replacement restored my 3rd and 4th gears, my transmission was never the same and I had to replace it when I just wanted to do general maintenance. Don't waste money. TIPS YOU NEED TO KNOW! 1. These solenoids are interchangeable. It doesn't matter which one you use for a or b.2. Solenoid A (closest to driver's side) is SPRING. IF YOU PULL THE CLAMP AND REMOVE THE MAGNET, IT SHOOTS! Make sure you put pressure on the back of the solenoid and rotate it while gently pulling so you don't lose the seal and spring from the valve body as this can happen if it shoots out of the solenoid. 3. Solenoid B is NOT spring loaded.4. The filter seal is stuck. If the rubber pad isn't torn, split, or torn, just leave it there. But if it's cracked, split, or torn, use an angle tool or connector remover to pry it out. It is not easy to take out and easy to damage the metal it is pressed into.5. The screw holes of the rubber gasket are slightly smaller than the thickness of the screws. I ran all the screws through these holes before putting the pan back on. This made tightening easier with no voids in the gasket or gasket displacement.6. Once all the screws are in the pan and gasket, lift them into place. Screw each screw around the entire perimeter of the pallet by hand in a few turns, then you can tighten them.7. Please make sure your 4L60e has a deep frying pan before purchasing. I mean look underneath. Is it just a flat rectangle, or does it have a bulge in the middle that goes down about an inch? If it has a bulge, it's a deep pan. Otherwise it's a flat pan and this filter won't work.
