I have an old Subaru station wagon that unfortunately has to be parked outside in the winter as there is no more space in my garage. Scraping ice and snow off the windshield is always the biggest problem in the morning and I've been looking for a cover since the snow hit the road. This cover fits my car with lots of space and should work well on medium sized cars. Trucks and SUVs and almost all passenger cars. 2 flaps are hidden in the doors or under the windows, and the lower part simply sticks to the hood with magnets. Unfortunately, my hood is aluminum so it doesn't stick, but I can get it to stick to my metal wipers and it stays in place just fine. I don't think very many cars come with aluminum hoods, so for most people this won't even be a problem. There are also straps that wrap around your side mirrors to stay in place in high winds and so far it hasn't even blown my car away in the fairly powerful hurricane we just had. It only takes a minute to remove and you can just shake it out and slide it into the trunk or passenger legroom while driving. The construction of the case is pretty good, the stitching seems well done and I don't think it's going to fall apart any time soon, but I'll find out after daily use at the end of the winter season. When it starts falling apart I will come back and edit this review because people need to know if it turns out to be junk. So far I'm happy with it and most importantly I hope I don't have to scrape the ice off the windshield (it's a lot worse than snow which is easy to remove) and makes driving very dangerous if you don't clear the windshield before retracting get cold weather.
