I am very satisfied with this product, I could only use it because I could change the way it was mounted. I had the clearance required but when installing as pictured I was unable to adjust the mirror due to the protrusion at the rear. What I was able to do was rotate the mount sideways, which gave me the freedom I needed to fully adjust the mirror. Also, because of the impact, I had to put the top bolt on the driver's side and the bottom bolt on the passenger's side. (FYI) In this mounting position, it's right of center, putting the reach a few inches farther from the rider.
