I run a reef aquarium maintenance company and decided to give this a try after using the Red Sea test kits for a long time. First, the test set itself is fairly accurate and I've had very similar results in the Red Sea. However, the kit itself feels very fragile and you don't feel like you're getting the same quality as Red Sea's professional test kit. There is still speculation between 5 and 12 ppm nitrate. But since this kit is significantly cheaper and even cheaper than the Red Sea Reagent, I think I'll stick with NYOS.
