Review on WirthCo 32157 Funnel King - Flexible Spout Funnel with Cap - Improved SEO by Nate Jenkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good solution for what I need. YMMV as needed.

A screw-on funnel was required to pour the staining solution from liter bottles. I've tried about a dozen other solutions for screwing a funnel onto a one quart bottle of oil. Everything leaked. Either the plastic was too hard, or the seal on the bottle neck wasn't strong enough, or there was no seal at all. The semi-flexible "rubberized" plastic of this spout seals well with the Mohawk brand liter bottles of NGR (formerly Behlens Solar-Lux) dyes that I use for wood finishing. Much better than spilling a splatter of paint on your hands, the bottle (covering the label) and elsewhere when trying to pour a small amount. However, look around. They can be bought for just a third of what they cost here. The only thing I would like to improve is the curved spout option where I only have one hand to pour and the other to hold the container. I pour (instead of holding the poured bottle with one hand and holding the flexible spout and guiding it with the other like this "fix" product does. I've tried using one of these King/ Wirthco spouts with a heat gun and it deformed badly and blew a hole through the plastic so don't waste a try although it was worth a try.
