We use this stand with our webcam during church services. We push the stand to the side of the podium. This gives us a much better angle, much more customization flexibility, and allows us to increase the angle by increasing the distance from the camera to the speaker. The quality seems good and the price is good. The only negative I found is that the stand adjustment doesn't make much sense. The customization controls just don't work properly. Last week I thought it was broken because I couldn't lock it; However, after starting all over again, I finally fixed it. It seems like it should be easy, but sometimes it's not. Great buy though. I'm glad I got it.
