In my caravan, the gray galley is separate from the black and gray tanks in the bathroom, so I have outlet valves in the back and another one about 2/3 closer in the front. This requires two hoses, neither of which leads directly to a drain fitting in the floor. I've seen others at the park attempting to install a length of gutter with some difficulty in length and the need for hose bends. It might be a cheap way but you get what you pay for. I have two Sidewinders and am grateful every time I install and disassemble them. They fit much better than a piece of gutter.
