Good product but takes some practice to set it up properly.

Used for the first time on a trip to Fl a few weeks ago. Key. A little tip: the distance must be right, otherwise the hose will sag at one or two connection points when the tank is flushed. When unloading the tanks, I had to adjust the distance several times, but next time I'll set up from the trailer first and then finish in stock. Also, don't try to face the foil outwards (if you're working under the foil). Crawling under it to adjust it was extremely uncomfortable.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • boring packaging

good product but not the easiest to use

Do I enjoy using this product? Yes. It keeps my drain hose off the ground and at a height where black water can flow through. Is it easy to install/use? Something like. The accordion style makes it a bit more difficult to use and set up. Does it fold back after use and the handle snaps back into place for easy carrying and storage? no Since this is my first time using it I have yet to figure out how to get the handle back there so I wrapped it with an elastic cord.

Provides a perfect slope to the drain

This is the second one I have bought after the old one completely fell apart due to age and use. This causes the hose to travel at a constant gradient from your RV to the waste water outlet, making it easier to empty. One thing I suggest is if you leave your gray water faucet open during your stay, remove a small piece of hose from its bracket and leave it on the floor. This creates an odor trap that collects water and prevents sewer odors from entering your RV. Then put it back on the support…

Works great on flat surfaces.

Length (15 feet) and height were just right for what I needed. However, at a campsite, there was a large gap between the pavement below my pop-up window and the sewage inlet. The sidewall isn't stiff enough to cover this gap, so I used a piece of decking I keep for rough leveling as a bridge. This seemed to fix the problem. Also, as a new glamper, I've learned that when you're connected to a sewage dump, you don't keep your valve open all the time. If you open it only after some substance has…

5 stars, excellent motorhome accessories

In my caravan, the gray galley is separate from the black and gray tanks in the bathroom, so I have outlet valves in the back and another one about 2/3 closer in the front. This requires two hoses, neither of which leads directly to a drain fitting in the floor. I've seen others at the park attempting to install a length of gutter with some difficulty in length and the need for hose bends. It might be a cheap way but you get what you pay for. I have two Sidewinders and am grateful every time I…

Draining the tank just got easier

Yes, I love the drain lines on your van. I recently did a 2 month trip in my trailer and left it at home as I never used the first one I had in the places I was last year. Yes, I found that after leaving my usual campsite, I needed it as many times as the sewer connection went higher in the air than I was used to. I'm very tired of lifting the hose off the floor until it's empty. This hose mount solves that problem (for the most part). So yeah I ended up having to have one sent to me and it…

Works well keeps out cold and sun

Have been using for a few years, travel a lot (60-70 nights a year) and usually only camp a day or two before going on gets a lot of tweaking and take off . It's holding up well so far, including the fact that I've been kicked/tripped more than I care to admit. It can be tricky to use on sections longer than 11 or 12 feet, but up to that length it will hold our flexible hose very well and make deflation easy. It's common sense to make it durable - there can't be much movement with the hose…

Hose Snaps In

This sewer hose bracket is highly durable and a must have for anyone who owns a camper or RV. It's very easy to use. You simply pull out the side winch and place the hose on top and the hose locks into place. You can also adjust the side wrap to a longer or shorter length and it stays in place pretty well. While the hose will lock when you're on grass, it will loosen when you position the hose or try to quickly deflate it. Hose. If you pull too hard on one end, the entire Sidewinder will fall…
