Review on 🔧 ACDelco K060935HD Specialty V Ribbed Serpentine: Enhanced Performance and Durability by Alex Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

AC HD belt still looked the same as when it was replaced

Had to replace Poly-V belt on my 2007 Tahoe with under 30,000 miles. I have replaced both belts, Poly V belt (K060935) and AC belt (K040378) at 100,000 miles. I have used an HD belt on an AC and an "upgraded" Aramid belt for the main belt and after 28,000 miles the main belt has snapped, frayed and frayed. The AC HD belt looked pretty much the same as when it was replaced. I didn't originally use an HD belt for the main V-ribbed belt because the manufacturer, Revain, and all other online guides state that this belt will not work on my 2007 Tahoe, even though this belt will work on most other Chevy trucks. SUVs and vehicles with the exact same 5.3 liter V8 engine. This strap is exactly the same width, length and rib count as the "approved" strap. I bought this HD version and replaced it with my Tahoe and had no problems.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction helps resist cracking and wear
Cons
  • Hard to tell
