2013 Silverado LT Crew Cab

There's a lot to be said for the multi-ribbed belt. I bought it for my 2013 Silverado LT Crew Cab, which squeaked like a mouse got stuck in the engine. It's nice and quiet and you can definitely tell it's sturdy and a lot better quality than the OEM belt that came with the truck. I would recommend this belt to anyone who needs a quality and durable belt.

Pros
  • Unique undercord groove pattern provides more flexibility for smaller diameter pulleys
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great belt - advanced and quiet

Aside from the green color (what's that?), this is a great belt. I've driven my 2011 Escalade about 4,000 miles and no squeaks, squeaks, slips or any other strange noises. I agree with other reviewers that this belt is better than the others and worth the extra cost. Remember, if your switchback fails, you become a pedestrian. After you change it, put the old one in the car as a spare if you ever need it. The 15mm socket and ratchet allow you to swap them out at the side of the road in minutes,

Pros
  • Proprietary materials help ensure maximum performance at extreme long-term operating temperatures
Cons
  • Little things

AC HD belt still looked the same as when it was replaced

Had to replace Poly-V belt on my 2007 Tahoe with under 30,000 miles. I have replaced both belts, Poly V belt (K060935) and AC belt (K040378) at 100,000 miles. I have used an HD belt on an AC and an "upgraded" Aramid belt for the main belt and after 28,000 miles the main belt has snapped, frayed and frayed. The AC HD belt looked pretty much the same as when it was replaced. I didn't originally use an HD belt for the main V-ribbed belt because the manufacturer, Revain, and all other online guides

Pros
  • Sturdy construction helps resist cracking and wear
Cons
  • Hard to tell
