Review on Diamond Baban Coating Ceramics Porcelain by Alex Jones

However, they work well.

I bought these to drill extra holes in my clay/ceramic/terracotta pots. They work very well when used properly. I've seen some reviews saying they wear out quickly, but I suspect water was never used as a lubricant/coolant with them. Friction generates heat, which leads to wear; That's why it's important to use water and not run the drill at high speed. That's what I do. I have some clay I'm laying around where I plan to drill a hole and create a "wall" around the area; Just squeeze the clay between your fingers to make a wand. Then add water. The clay retains the water contained in the area. All you have to do next is keep drilling, but don't run the drill at high speed. The water cools and lubricates the drill. Easy! However, as mentioned by other reviewers, there are a few downsides to the Beats. The shank of the 3 largest bits in my set are off center or not exactly vertical causing them to "wobble". Second, the metal paint on the stock is peeling off. Is it worth buying? In my opinion I had no issues with my set other than the shanks being tilted or off center and others reporting metal flakes.
