Review on πŸ”‘ Enhance Your Car Security with KeylessOption Keyless Entry Remote Control Car Key Fob Replacement - Red by Zac Pewitt

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works well. Ordered 2 but one arrived scratched. After 2 months still no replacement.

I have just purchased and received 2 of these parts for my 2007 GMC Yukon XL. I work near a local GMC dealership so I went there to program both rather than using the instructions that came with them, although the instructions seem pretty straightforward. Usually the dealer will charge over $100 to buy one of these, or $35 to program the one you bring (no guarantee it will actually work). They did it for me for free as I had another job. The key fob is very similar to the original and the dealer had no trouble programming it. .both were done in less than 2 minutes. There are 2 very slight differences between the picture and the actual remotes I received. 1. The button in the stock image looks like the bottom black button will open the trunk, but it actually only opens the glass. .just like the original. The button on the remote that you get shows an image of just opening glass, and that's how it works. (Looks the same as the original GMC remote control.) 2. The small metal ring that comes with the package is larger than the one shown in the photo. I don't see either of these as a problem at all. Maybe just a new picture would make sense. The only problem is that one of the two came with a cracked back panel. If the seller can fix it, it's an easy buy 5 stars. I sent them a message when I first bought FOB but almost 2 months later still no response from them.

Pros
  • This is a replacement part that is identical in form and function to the original.
Cons
  • update availability.
