While the Flux S delivers a maximum sprint power of 1500W and simulates a 10% incline for a 165 pound rider, this is sufficient for most cyclists looking to maintain or improve their winter fitness. Having used a wheel on a trainer before (which tends to go just over 16 mph and screams like a banshee by 20), I was really shocked at how quiet the Flux S is (the fact that its " big brothers" the Flux 2 and Neo should be quieter but still amazing). My fan, breath and chain through the gears are louder than the Flux S! Worth its price. I would say I prefer RGT to Tacx (http://www.rgtcycling.com) training software for its realism and flexibility (the ability to add your own routes and training plans is great). However, the free trial of Tacx and Zwift is a nice touch.
