Tacx Flux Smart Bike Trainer Review

I have a Wahoo Kickr and bought it for my wife. Although Flux is quieter, it's not as accurate. It makes sense given the lower cost, but the Flux has a much worse powerband. I can leave my kicker in the same gear and crank the power up from 50 to very high. With Flux, my wife basically has to switch to grinders to get under 100W. Not a big fan of it.

I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to share my experience with other riders. It's always fun to try new gear but to my disappointment the box looked like it had been used since I received it. The box was torn and damaged, the foam inside was also damaged and the machine was scratched from side to side. I heard it's a good product but be careful where you buy it. Very disappointing for a loyal Garmin user with over 10 years of experience.

My trainer was delivered to a different apartment and signed with a different name. When I asked Revain what to do they sent me to the seller to solve the problem and then it got bad. Luckily for me, the next morning my neighbor knocked on my door and explained that FedEx had thrown it at his apartment, but it was too heavy to carry upstairs. Being kind pays off! Glad to have found this machine at a reasonable price and from the photos in the description it looks like it will be ready to use. This car was good until it broke after 2 weeks of ownership. It was used by my mother, an elderly woman who weighs very little. The aluminum block cover that bolts to each side of the bike frame mount was damaged when it came loose while using the machine. The cover in question was on the cassette side of the device.
