SO STRONG SMELL

When I first started using the purifying conditioner (Wen) I also found it made my hair greasy but that was because I was using it like a regular shampoo. After learning how to use it properly, the result was clean hair. There's a learning curve when switching from regular shampoo - you don't have a detergent doing all the work for you, so it takes some time and effort. Use about double the amount of product and take a few minutes to apply to all areas of the scalp. Continue to add water while brushing to dilute the product so it reaches the scalp. Scrubbing is the only way to get truly clean hair. Exfoliate Exfoliate Exfoliate, then rinse rinse rinse. I have very fine, very straight and very dark hair and since the combination of these properties makes even the smallest amount of oil noticeable, I have to wash my hair every day. I have the EverPure Cleansing Balm and it works about the same as most cleansing conditioners. I tried but this thing has SO strong smell. It's not entirely unpleasant, not overly floral, more of a unisex scent, but so strong! And it stays on your hair long after you get out of the shower. Since I find the strength of the scent too intense, I will probably not buy it again. I prefer the lighter scent of Herbal Essences Cleansing Conditioner.
