Review on 🔧 BikeMaster Safety Wire Pliers Set with 25-foot Stainless Steel Wire - Model 15-1554 by Tres Carmon

I've been servicing airplanes for 40 years so I use these pliers a lot. I was pleasantly surprised at their quality - they are at least on par with the Blue Points I bought 30 years ago ($79 in 1990). I've used most if not all other brands that cost a lot more and wasn't thrilled. Even when I was brand new I had issues with others not staying closed. They stay securely closed even with .041" wire. I've used them with .020, .025, .032, and .041 inch wire. The gripping pattern on the jaws will not damage smaller gauge wire (leading to weak points) but will still hold it securely when twisted. I'll have to see how long they last, but right now I like them better than the ones that cost $100 or more. Too bad they didn't do a reversible version, but I guess you can't have everything.
