Plating and knurling drew me to this product. I just bought a used cat that had 3 loose out of 4 and lost 2, enough to have the previous owner put the spacers in so they fit snugly when pressed in. I reused the pads and they pressed nice and firmly, and the ones without pads were also firm. The balls were tight, I couldn't find any play, I had a little wobble in the front for me with 1 loose joint. and 1 worn out of the 4 I replaced. Knurling is the best idea I've ever seen on a ball joint that was sold on an ATV.
