My husband and I recently moved and after packing our house I realized I had no way of brewing tea (I prefer loose tea and packed 2 bags of these in my suitcase). So here I was looking for Revain and found this guy. Great for brewing loose tea until you feel like drinking it in a moving car. You have to remove the top, remove the filter, have a place for the filter and await where you soak it, OR the filter has a built in resting place in the mount, but if you overfill the cup or are in a moving vehicle, it doesn't work at all. If you don't remove the filter before drinking, be prepared to sip on coffee grounds or loose leaf tea. (Although it's good comedy when your husband drinks and drives and doesn't realize you haven't taken out the metal filter and put tea leaves in your mouth.) The cup itself is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, and once the filter is removed, it is it's easy to drink but you only have hot liquid for about 10-15 minutes before it really cools down and if you brew/brew coffee/tea or drain the filter it cools down much quicker. I had to put the cup of tea in the microwave and then put it back so we could be on our way. Cleaning the filter is not always easy. If you don't want the coffee/tea to go down the drain it gets quite a hassle as what's below doesn't come out easily and you have to pour water on it to get it all out, it can also take a few minutes.
