I use them to brew various cold beers (both regular and decaf) in the fridge and keep track of them on a magnetic board. It does the best job of any bottle or jug I've tried and I happily sip it one cup at a time with different beverages. It is very easy to brew and wash afterwards. I don't recommend drinking straight from it as things can go bad.

Instructions are helpful easy to clean and use and I love taking a cold drink to work but I've had it for three days. it was completely broken. Obviously user error and I've already bought another one. I also bought water bottle sleeves hoping to protect them a little better. Great product if you're the kind of person who can have good things without damaging them.

Within the first month or two of using this product I loved it. It makes the most amazing pour over and cold brew coffee. Your coffee is not ground and keeps your drink hot or cold for hours! But. My brew bottle broke after very limited and careful use. I've never put it in the dishwasher or done anything to make it break, but the bottom of the base fell out and the outer glass cracked. I am SO disappointed as this is an expensive bottle and I loved it before it broke.

I rarely write reviews but my experience with this product was funny. I've had 2 Soma decanters with which I've had no issues so I trusted their products and believed other reviews of the container breaking were anomalies. Not correct! I had the container at room temperature, I rinsed it out with room temperature water, then I put an ice cube in the container and the bottom just popped. I like drinking glass coffee and have a lot of Soma products (a pot with a filter both at home and at work, a few glass water bottles) so at first it was one perfect travel bottle. I made it for a week before it tipped over in the sink and spectacularly shattered into hundreds of tiny pieces of glass. Unfortunately this product is only amazing till the glass breaks. I have never seen such fragile glass in my life. You barely touch a surface with it and it's over. I contacted their support team for a replacement as I had it for about a week before it crashed and although they sent me a replacement glass they didn't send both pieces of glass. I've had it since December and used it maybe 3 or 4 times before it started leaking. Sure, the leaks aren't extreme, but when you're traveling in a suit and tie in the morning, the last thing you want on your clothes is coffee drips in random places. Not only does it leak when you pick up a mug to drink, it even leaks just standing on the counter, which makes absolutely no sense. This bottle was too expensive for what it is. The filter is good but very slow. The lid appears to be closed, but it isn't. Make sure you really close it or you're in a spill! My husband and I recently moved and after packing our house I realized I had no way of brewing tea (I prefer loose tea and packed 2 bags of these in my suitcase).
