This is my second electric jackhammer that I have just purchased. My first lasted 5 years. It actually still works, but the aluminum handle broke last week and they don't sell replacement handles. I'm a fence builder and we use this hammer almost every day! It takes a hit, we throw it on rocks, throw it in the back of a truck, etc. It's a lot easier than towing my $15,000 compressor and lugging around my 90-pound jackhammer every day, unless it is A big job. But for the most part we usually only have a few holes to hit and it does the job flawlessly. The only thing I changed about it is the power cord and brushes as they don't last forever. Also, I had to disassemble the handle twice as the cord inside the handle loosens from time to time from the constant vibration. I received my new hammer yesterday, a day ahead of schedule. There was an oil leak but I'm sure it can be fixed. I'm happy.
