It's fast, easy and reliable. However, you need to make sure your plastic part goes all the way through or you'll be in trouble. If the little plastic ground is between the layers of your quilt, you'll have to handle it, so learn to be careful. Also removing it is not as easy as you might think. Take a small pair of blunt scissors and gently snip the other end with your hand to remove the plastic tip. You don't want to run a needle through it if it's stuck to the underside of your quilt. But it's very, very quick and easy to use once you're comfortable with those two attachments, and there are plenty of plastic attachments that fit multiple quilts without having to buy a replacement right away. I recommend.
