Took 30 minutes to install, plug and play on my 2006 Softail. But a few notes to help you. First make sure they light up before putting the trim ring back on. You can reverse wire 4" high beam headlights very easily. I had one miswired, easy to fix, just reverse the connector and you're good. The 7" headlight got lost around the trim ring with my standard headlight bucket, so stick 3m double sided tape around the entire outside edge of the headlight before installing the trim ring and it will be nice and tight.When installing the headlight also use the three original screws from the old trim ring.The screws supplied with the kit are a little smaller and won't tighten if you keep the original bucket like I did.No need to run to Lowe's to buy screws, just use the three original screws to attach the trim ring.I didn't use a new bucket, they fit fits perfectly into regular headlights.The high beam turns off when the high beam is on.Overall I'm very happy with the Quality and performance of these lights and they look great on the bike! Don't let the low cost fool you! These are great lights and they cost a lot less than the HD prices of their bulbs.
