I already had the DayMakers set, but I wanted to change it up a bit. At first I liked this pair of lights from Z-OFFROAD because they show a ring of light around the edge and are black instead of chrome to match my blacked out theme of my bike. Took 30 minutes to install, plug and play on my 2006 Softail. But a few notes to help you. First make sure they light up before putting the trim ring back on. You can reverse wire 4" high beam headlights very easily. I had one miswired, easy to fix, just reverse the connector and you're good. I bought the black 7" Z off-road kit as I also needed low beam LED headlights. They went with my classic 2011 Legacy Softtail. The low beam went on with no problems. I didn't need to the bracket with the set screws that the headlight was attached to, this is used to mount a lantern into a fairing or bat wing as some call it, all I needed was a light, the new mounting ring is designed that way that it conforms to the shape of the mounting bracket that bolts to the fairing so when you try to use…

Update 6/1/19 The seller sent me a new set of low beam bulbs free of charge and told me to keep the originals. The seller responded very quickly and exchanged the item. BUT EVEN the low beam headlights had condensation from a chilly evening cruise when they were replaced. Rating to 3 stars. As long as they don't short-circuit anything, I think that's acceptable given the price of the device. I live in Denver so altitude and cool air can make a big difference.
