Purchased as an external filter for the Harley Davidson External Oil Filter to replace the K&N WHITE Bottom Nut Filter. My chopper is black and the white filter sticks out like a sore thumb. Spring. The white filter costs extra dollars. The black filter housing is MUCH thinner. In such a vulnerable position, function is KING over form! You get what you pay for.
