Decent product and very easy to install

Very impressed with this product. I was a bit skeptical because I wasn't sure if the landlord would allow the installation as I live in a rented apartment. Second, I wasn't sure if I could install it myself and if I had all the necessary tools and skills to install it. The leasing office took a day or two and approved the installation. While the installation seems pretty easy, I read the manual and was able to install it in about 30 minutes. I struggled a bit when I had to attach the blue pressure control/adjustment rings. The only tool needed was a wrench, a screwdriver is optional but I had to use it for the blue rings as I didn't connect it properly and the water leaked a bit but I managed to install it properly. The good thing is the design, I just put it on edge and haven't attached/screwed it to the wall unit yet. Also, I didn't use the white tape that comes with the filter to stop the water leaking as it works great without it as I don't see any water leaking at all. The only advice I would give is to be careful and gentle. Since the threads are plastic there is a chance that if you overdo it the thread will be cut and then of course you will need white ribbons. But that doesn't mean you go to the plumber. If you are careful you can do it yourself. After installation I watched for 10 minutes when I was sure no water had leaked I tasted the water and it tasted so good and looked much better clean than it did before installation. Unfortunately, where the water was a bit yellowish, I didn't have time to take a photo before installing the filter. I don't usually take the time to write long reviews, but I couldn't resist. With this product you get the same or even better tasting water than 5 gallon bottled water. It's only been a week so far the results have been good and I hope it meets my expectations, specifically I need to see how long the filter lifespan is?. If not, I'll get back to you with an updated review.
