. When I first used this chopper, before the basket was even full, it froze. I waited for it to cool down as instructed and tried again to no avail. I checked for a paper jam (there wasn't one) and waited all night to make sure it had cooled. In the morning it didn't work again - the electricity is there, but the gears are stuck. I called Fellowes support which was closed over the weekend. I checked their website for FAQs and was instructed to remove the screws and check for a paper jam, which I did (there was no jam). I waited until Monday and called Fellowes again. After a long wait I was told that removing the screws would void my warranty. I said their website instructed me to remove the screws and they reiterated that I was voiding the warranty. I asked for an observer. After another long wait I was told the manager was unavailable but if I left my name and number they would definitely call back. I asked to continue the queue and was disconnected. I will not buy another Fellowes product.
