instantly booted and plugged in with minimal effort. The installation CD assumes you know nothing about what the router is doing, so you don't need to manually go into its browser interface to set it up (unless you're doing nothing but connecting that router directly to your computer and a cable or DSL modem ). I have the 'N' version instead of the 'G' wireless router because one day I will upgrade my laptop's 'G' wireless card to 'N' when prices drop. Thanks to my branded laptop's built-in "G" access card, I have very good downstairs access with this router, which is on the 2nd floor of my wood/stucco/drywall home. It is very difficult to estimate the speed of wireless data transmission due to many different factors. However, with my wireless laptop "G" at about 60 feet down, I get internet upload speeds of 500 kbps and uploads of 1Mbps to 2Mbps - measured using an internet speed measurement website (using WRT150N, connected to a cable modem through another router).
