I installed them on my 2012 Camry with no problems. I decided to point mine in the opposite direction than advertised. I connected the main power to the cigarette lighter under the dash radio, then removed the centerpiece and tucked all the wires under the switch/cup holder with the control monitor dangling from the passenger side. There was enough cable to start at the front and then hide under the door/floor to the end. There is no space in my car at the bottom of the seat to put them, so I decided to just mount them in the rear footpegs. 10/10 I would say this week I was offered $400 to install LEDs.
