Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Merrell Unisex Hiking Gunsmoke Little Boys' Shoes and Sandals: Discover Durable Footwear for Outdoor Adventures by Terrance Haralson

Size reference

First of all I really liked these shoes for my son! He is full of energy and in kindergarten he used these Merrell shoes daily for all activities and proved them to be durable. I liked them so much I wanted another pair for him. Unfortunately, his current shoes no longer show the size (the numbers have faded). Someone in the review here (or in the sizing notes) pointed out to use the numbers listed as inch size. It is not true. The photo shows "9W for toddlers aged 4-8". I thought it was 9 inches since it was suggested, but as you can see it's not. These shoes are now smaller than my son's. The Revain post also lists sizes by age, but that confuses me too. My son will be 6 soon and has average feet for his age. To give him the right size, he should be in the range of 8 to 12 years for older children. Having an image of a size chart with inches (or metric) and appropriate sizes for a brand will go a long way. I will keep looking for the right Merrell shoe size! I hope this helps some of you with the frustrating task of identifying children's shoes online!

Pros
  • Got this for my son, he just loves them. He's always up for an adventure, especially with this one. You are simply great!
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for long-term use
