Review on Stainless Thread Twisted Threaded Insertion by Adam Clemons

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The faucet was good, the rest ma'am.

The drill bit is of pretty poor quality and had problems with aluminium. Don't try both in steel. The faucet was the right size and cut aluminum perfectly. I couldn't run the insert and have used this style many times with different sizes from 5mm to 14mm. For some reason we couldn't start it. Even my friend, a lifelong professional mechanic, couldn't start it. I ended up borrowing one with a blue plastic tube that you put the insert in first and it worked great. I was tempted to return the kit but I used a faucet and three inserts so that would be wrong. By the way, the first set arrived without insoles and I had to order and return another set.

Pros
  • A threaded insert fits into a threaded hole in a workpiece, e.g. B. made of aluminum alloy to form a high strength, wear-resistant and high-precision standard internal thread.
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
