I have a 2005 Fleetwood Southwind motor home with a Ford F53 chassis. I was having a really hard time locating the connector under the dash so I thought I could help someone figure it out. It took me 2 hours to dig up the dashboard and uselessly disassemble it. The connector on all Ford F53 chassis from '99 to now has a connector on the left hand side of the steering column, but it runs between the 3 trunks of the main wiring harness and the rear. behind the air conditioning shaft. The wire coming out of the trunk wiring harness is twisted in half and sealed with black electrical tape. The white connector comes out of the wire harness and faces down, but folds in half so the connector faces up. It's wedged tightly between the other harnesses, so you'll need to find that one harness that doubles up on its own. Stick your fingers in and you can feel the plug but you can't see it. Carefully cut the tape holding the bent wires to themselves, then pull the connector out of its little hiding place. Only Ford could do something like that. . :-(
