Review on 🔧 OTC 4513 Heavy-Duty 2-Piece Snap-Ring Pliers Set for Internal and External Use by Jimmy Bores

This tool kit is worth the money. The pictures don't do it justice. The quality and size let me know I bought the right tool for the job. I spent hours trying to install a snap ring clip on a 2006 Ford Explorer knuckle. I used regular snap ring pliers from an auto parts store and a flathead screwdriver to pry it out, but resetting it was more difficult. When standard snap ring pliers didn't work, I tried long handled needle nose pliers. This gave me leverage, but the teeth barely fit in the snap ring holes. I was almost able to close the ring but when I tried to put it back in. RING! it flew Out of frustration I was looking for a better tool and came across this set. When the package arrived I was surprised by the size and weight. I thought no pair of tongs could weigh that much. But when I opened the box, saw the case, and opened the case, I knew this tool would do the job. As soon as I picked up the pliers and felt the quality and weight, I just knew I was going to become the OWNER of this locking ring! I didn't even have to change teeth. The size of the tool gave me the ability to easily squeeze this 4" retaining ring with one hand and the locking mechanism on it was such a relief! The ring went in so quickly I thought something MUST be wrong, but it just worked.
