Inexpensive way to avoid huge plumbing bills
Just what I needed to catch my long hair before it went down the drain. Years ago I learned a lesson about letting long hair down the drain when I had to pay a small fortune to unclog clogged pipes. It wasn't just hair (don't rinse off any women's products or those so-called "flushable" wipes!), but hair was a big part of it. I've been using one of these strainers in the shower ever since and have never clogged it again. I don't mind scooping wet hair out of it after every shower as it avoids another huge bill from the plumber, not to mention the inconvenience of clogged pipes.
