Every time there is a power failure, the light is not connected to the mains. You must return to the app and try to pair again within 1-5 minutes. Kids pull the plug? time to reconnect. Cards knock out the plug? Time to reconnect? Reconnect. When they work, the lights do what they say. The application is easy to install, a little primitive but functional. I wish there was more to the app that you could program or change. The color palette is good, but the programs are limited. Voice control with Alexa works when connected. Overall these are decent lights, not amazing but very bright due to connectivity issues.
