order/arrive same day. Very easy to set up, download the app, press a button, done! Multiple modes for flash, fade, strobing through colors. Color wheel if you want your own color. Very happy with this purchase.

What can I say, very cool. I will never have to buy different colored lamps again. They cover every color you can imagine and all Wi-Fi connections wherever you are. Great for the Christmas tree. I will be placing them outside and on my tree and once I do I will post a video so everyone can see how cool these lights are. I can't wait to get more.

We bought 2 large strings. We had no trouble syncing the lights to their app or to Alexa. To switch to sound, the app must be open and either 1) the phone is playing music, or 2) the phone is near a speaker. This means I can't play Spotify through Alexa AND can't get it to respond to music due to the music screen overlapping in the app. We want to use this function. Otherwise we really liked this product.

So I made it my mission to do everything around the house with Alexa support. These lights worked great once I found the right app! If you're buying them with the intention of using them with Alexa, don't even bother with the Xodo Smart app listed in the instructions. Just download Smart Life and pair it with Alexa in the Skills section and you have voice control! Every time there is a power failure, the light is not connected to the mains. You must return to the app and try to pair again within 1-5 minutes. Kids pull the plug? time to reconnect.
