I ordered these for my mum who is not computer savvy when I was visiting so they had to arrive while I was there for my short visit. And they did! I asked her to open the toner cartridge, remove the orange tabs, pull out the strip and insert it directly into her HP P1102w. She closed the cover and printed out a test page. Voila! It worked. No problem. Also, after printing the 3rd or 4th sheet, she received the grim news that using an "unapproved HP toner cartridge" would void her warranty. We laughed and laughed because their printer is at least 10 years old and therefore no longer under warranty. I'll walk her through the stages to disable the warning and she'll be happy as a clam for next year. THANK YOU Jarbo! PS To disable the non-genuine HP warning: 1. In Windows, go to Devices and Printers2. Right-click on the HP P1102w3 printer and open it. Switch to the Ports4 tab. Disable "Bidirectional Support" at the bottom of the window.
