I received a coupon because I had one of the previous versions of the thermometer from the same seller or brand. I immediately jumped on the offer because I could use the coupon. I have used it several times since receiving it, I do not see a negative point in it. The menu isn't entirely simple, but it's not confusing either. The temperature reading seems pretty accurate (I haven't measured it with any other instrument, so that's my conclusion). One good thing that I really like is the larger screen size compared to some other similar products. I have several BBQ thermometers, this is the only one I've bought that doesn't have wireless and remote monitoring. I've only used it when cooking alongside steak or chicken. If you're into slow cooking, you need a device that can control the temperature remotely. And another plus is the alarm function (not such a big deal since you'll be close to the grill anyway). I would say that in general everything is pretty decent about this product. Lots of other brands do that too.
