2/2 Inaccuracies before and after calibration

Purchased (2) none of them were accurate enough to pose anything but a hazard to my plants. Calibrated with their PH buffers and other brands I have. It should also be emphasized that they are very light. They don't have a HOLD button. They don't have a little sponge on the underside of the lid. This small sponge contains a buffer or storage solution to keep the proof moist. If the probe is not maintained, it becomes useless forever. As it stands, (each) probe has an average life expectancy of 18 months. Whether you're spending $110 on BlueLab, $45 on HM Digital, or anywhere in between. I tried them and found that I got what I paid for. Nothing. My last pH meter was an HM Direct which I bought from Revain. It worked right out of the box and didn't deviate from accuracy until I used it for over 2 years. The HM Direct has a fluid storage sponge, a hold button and some weight. BlueLab clearly has a top-notch reputation, as well as some nice features, and the price reflects that. I was about to go down this route when these 2 units proved useless. Whatever you choose I do not recommend them at all. You are an obligation.
